Sunshine Village offers 3,358 acres of skiable terrain on three mountains -- Goat's Eye, Lookout and Standish. There are more than 107 runs, including one that offers the unique chance to ski in two Canadian provinces, Alberta and British Columbia, on the same run. A dozen lifts and a high-speed gondola whisk skiers up the slopes. The season lasts from mid-November through late May at the family-owned resort, which is about 88 miles from Calgary International Airport.
