Set high in the spectacular Sangre de Cristo Mountains, Santa Fe’s winter playground boasts a base area elevation of 10,350 feet, making it one of the highest ski areas in the continental United States. You’ll find 1,725 vertical feet of skiing and 69 runs -- the longest stretching for three miles. There are seven lifts, including the new Millennium Triple Chairlift, which takes guests to the 12,075-foot summit of Deception Peak. Chipmunk Corner, a full-service children’s center, offers ski and snow play areas, lessons and daycare services. The mountain is about 68 miles from Albuquerque International Sunport and 14 miles from Santa Fe Municipal Airport. Historic downtown Santa Fe is 16 miles away.
