Copper Mountain, located 75 miles west of Denver International Airport, offers more than 2,000 acres for skiing, snowboarding and more. Its 125 trails are evenly divided among skill levels ranging from beginners to experts. Snowboarders flock to its Catalyst terrain park and 18-foot-tall superpipe, while a tubing hill offers fun for the young and young-at-heart. Skiers can challenge a friend (or the clock) at the Public Race Arena. Other winter activities at Copper Mountain include free daily snowshoeing tours, snowmobiling, dog sledding and ice-skating on West Lake.
