This Colorado resort welcomes more than 1.5 million visitors annually, and for good reason. It has an average annual snowfall of 300 inches and 300 days of sunshine per year. It's home to North America's highest chairlift, the Imperial Express, and the 900-foot NASTAR racecourse, where visitors can hone their racing skills. Of its 2,358 skiable acres, more than half are trails geared for expert or advanced skiers. Four O'Clock is its longest run at 3.5 miles, and snowboarders will enjoy five terrain parks and four halfpipes. Breckenridge is 104 miles from Denver International Airport and 63 miles from Eagle County Regional Airport.
