Originally built in 1973 by the Gaylord family, the Cliff Lodge has since doubled in size and increased dramatically in amenities and services. Room amenities include air conditioning, alarm clock/radio, telephones, small refrigerator, cable TV, hairdryer, iron/ironing board, humidifier, and coffee maker.
Children’s Policy: Children up to age 18 can stay free using existing bedding with at least 1 adult.
Maximum Occupancy: 4 guests.
Canyon View Standard - Bedrooms are approximately 360 sq. ft with two queen-size beds and a full bath. Canyon view rooms overlook the third floor guest pool and Mt Superior.
Mountain View Standard - Bedrooms are approximately 360 sq. ft with two queen-size beds and a full bath. Mountain View rooms face slope side.
Specific bedding and/or special requests are fulfilled based on availability and cannot always be guaranteed.

The Aerie Restaurant - Situated on the tenth floor of The Cliff Lodge, enjoy spectacular mountain views seen through 15-foot windows. The Aerie offers an unmatched combination of exquisite cuisine and breathtaking views of Snowbird Ski and Summer Resort. Favorite appetizers are the Panko-Crusted Ahi Tuna Roll, Duck Confit or the Salmon Nicoise. Enjoy Venison Tenderloin from our Steaks and Chops section, or try our Braised Lamb Shank or Alaskan Halibut. Open in the winter every day for breakfast and dinner. Open in the summer for dinner only, Tuesday through Saturday.
El Chanate Restaurant - Enjoy the cozy fireplace in this quaint little restaurant or enjoy a spectacular view from the patio, weather permitting. El Chanate offers up the most popular Mexican dishes like our Carne Asada, with sirloin marinated in tequila and lime juice, served with sweet peppers and tortillas. Among our specialties are also the Chicken Venganza, sautéed with pasilla peppers, the traditional Pork Carnitas and Chile Verde. Not in the mood for Mexican? El Chanate offers popular American dishes, from rib-eye steak and grilled salmon to hamburgers and French fries. Given the festive atmosphere, menu variety and value, El Chanate is sure to become a canyon favorite, so arrive early and enjoy often.
The Atrium Restaurant - Sit in the elaborate Atrium with its 10-story ceilings or out on the patio against the backdrop of spectacular Mount Baldy. In the winter months The Atrium lunch buffet is a perfect way to indulge your appetite after a few runs on the slopes. The Sunday Brunch offers breakfast and lunch entrees, salads, soups, sushi, action stations and a sinful selection of desserts hand made in the Snowbird Bakery.
The Cliff Lodge Snack Bar - This eatery is located by the swimming pool and hot tub complex. Serving soup, sandwiches, pizza, hot dogs, nachos, smoothies, soft drinks, draft beer and assorted snacks.

The Aerie Lounge - Aerie Lounge features the same great views as the restaurant with plenty of sofas and an inviting fireplace. The sushi bar is open for the winter season; the sushi is fresh every day, prepared with flare and arguably the best in the state.
El Chanate Cantina - El Chanate Cantina is home to Utah’s largest selection of premium. El Chanate offers some exquisite tequilas such as Corralejo Triple Distilled Repasado, Don Julio Anejo and Herradura Suprema.
Please note that both bars are private clubs only for members.
Children's Programs - The Cliff Lodge & Spa
Camp Snowbird - Camp Snowbird is the resort’s comprehensive, state-licensed daycare facility with an on-premises kitchen and nursery for infants 6 weeks and older. Camp Snowbird offers a seamless integration with the resort’s renowned Mountain School to smoothly incorporate lessons on the nearby Chickadee Run and throughout the mountain with customary daycare offerings such as games, movies, arts and crafts and naps.
